Who We Are

Smart Tix is an online ticketing software provider acting as a Data Processor on behalf of Event Organisers, who are the Data Controllers. While we manage the technical platform for booking, the Event Organiser determines the purposes and means of processing your personal data.

The identity of the Event Organiser (Data Controller) is disclosed to you during the ticket purchasing process.

Legal Basis for Processing

Smart Tix processes your personal data under the following legal bases:

• Contractual Necessity: To fulfil the contract of processing your booking or placing you on a waiting list.

If you opt in to receive marketing communications during booking, your consent applies to the Event Organiser or any specifically named third parties. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting them directly.

Smart Tix is not responsible for how Event Organisers handle your personal data beyond the scope of ticketing.

Smart Tix retains personal data for a maximum of five (5) years, solely to facilitate customer service, refunds, or dispute resolution.

Event Organisers may have their own retention policies, available in their respective privacy statements.
