About Smart Tix

Smart Tix Pty Ltd (ABN) (“Smart Tix”) provides ticketing services, including the sale and distribution of tickets, as an agent for the venue, promoter, or event organizer (the “Seller”). Smart Tix operates smarttix.au (the “Site”) to facilitate these services.

Acceptance of Terms

Before purchasing tickets, please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By completing a ticket purchase from Smart Tix, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. They apply to both the original ticket purchaser and any subsequent ticket holders (“you”).

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Smart Tix may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will apply only to ticket purchases made after the changes have been posted.

Additional Seller Terms

Each ticket is subject to the Seller’s specific terms and conditions, which may include Conditions of Entry for the event (“Seller’s Terms”). These terms may be disclosed as part of the event information on Smart Tix ’s website and at Smart Tix agents and outlets at the time of purchase. Seller’s Terms are available from Smart Tix upon request.

General Terms

Refunds, Exchanges, and Replacements

Unless otherwise specified under the Refundable Tickets Terms and Conditions:

Refunds and Exchanges

Smart Tix does not offer refunds or exchanges due to personal circumstances or external factors like adverse weather. Refunds or exchanges are provided only if an event is cancelled, rescheduled, or significantly relocated by the Seller. For cancellations, refunds are automatically processed to the original payment method. Refund requests for rescheduled or relocated events must be made within 4 weeks of notification or 72 hours before the event. If no request is made, you will be deemed to accept the changes.

Liability

For cancelled, rescheduled, or relocated events, liability is limited to the ticket purchase amount, including any fees. Neither Smart Tix nor the Seller is liable for other losses, including travel or accommodation expenses.

Ticket Replacements

Lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed tickets may be replaced if authenticity can be verified, proof of purchase is provided, and reasonable notice is given. A reasonable fee may apply, and replacement is not available for general admission tickets.

Travel and Accommodation

Consider the refund and cancellation policies of other service providers and possibly obtain insurance to cover potential losses due to event changes.

Pricing

Ticket prices are generally set by the Seller at the time of sale. Dynamic pricing may apply, where prices fluctuate based on demand. The price displayed at the time of purchase is the amount you will pay, regardless of any price changes before or after the purchase.

Ticket Purchase

The Seller reserves the right to change event details, including artists, performers, programs, prices, venues, seating arrangements, and audience capacity.

Conditions of Entry

Admission is always subject to the Seller’s Terms, which may include:

Ticket Authenticity and Validity

Entry may be refused if a ticket’s authenticity or validity is questionable. Tickets must be purchased from authorized sellers.

Resale and Scalping

Tickets cannot be resold or used for commercial purposes without Smart Tix ’s and the Seller’s prior written consent. Unauthorized resale may result in ticket cancellation and refusal of admission. Resale regulations may also include criminal penalties.

Ticket Collection and Delivery

Allow adequate time for ticket collection or delivery. Smart Tix may adjust delivery methods to minimize scalping. Identification is required for concessions.

Ticket Purchase Limits

Ticket limits may apply to prevent scalping and ensure fair access. Exceeding limits may result in order cancellations.

System and Customer Errors

Smart Tix may cancel orders due to system errors but will contact you to offer a purchase at the correct price. If a customer error requires reprocessing, applicable fees may be charged.
